Celebrating Cicadas!

You may have heard or seen some special new red-eyed visitors earlier this summer. These Brood XIX cicadas, a group of 13-year periodical cicadas, emerged this year in the Southeast. They have come and gone, but the annual cicadas are out and about, so we’re still celebrating! Join us at the Anniston Museums and Gardens to celebrate cicadas by learning all about this incredible insect through interactive learning, crafts, hands-on experiences, and more!
