Trail Walk

The Alabama Tourism Department deemed 2025 as the Year of the Trails. Celebrate and discover Alabama’s outdoor beauty during the Longleaf Botanical Gardens’ (LBG) Trail Walk series. LBG is home to four nature trails, including the Bird of Prey Trail, and is a proud member of the Alabama Birding Trail. Join an Educational Interpreter on a guided hike two Saturdays a month from January-May. Nature begins to awaken from its winter slumber, showcasing new foliage and birds, so bundle up, lace up your boots, and explore the great outdoors with us!

This program is free to all. Purchase of museum admission is not required.
