Thank you everyone for making the Anniston Museums and Gardens 3rd Annual Fall Fest a great success! We had over 400 guests participate in our fall festivities.
Participants had the opportunity to visit with reptiles and amphibians courtesy of the Alabama Herpetological Society and JSU Herp LAB, alpacas and donkeys thanks to our friends at the Dustbunnies and Dog Hair Petting Zoo, and be hands-on with a variety of taxidermy animals on the Sensory Safari Trailer.
Those brave enough ventured through the dark Exhibit Halls at Anniston Museum of Natural History with their flashlights, and discovered the strange and unique history inside the Berman Museum galleries through “Mysteries at the Museum”.
Hayrides kept visitors smiling and giggling as they rode around the grounds with interpreters. The Anniston Fire Department and White Plains Fire Department represented our local emergency response teams with their trucks and gear.
No one left the festival hungry thanks to the Baby Boy’s BBQ and Izzie’s Treats cooking up a variety to hot dogs, nachos, funnel cakes, and more!
A special thank you to the DD Club for volunteering their time to assist with this year’s Fall Fest. This event would not be possible without the help of so many volunteers!
