In the early 1990s, Anniston Museum and Jacksonville State University Biology Department created a festival with the intent to educate people of all ages about reptiles and amphibians in a safe and fun environment. We brought HerpFest back to our line of programs three years ago and have had a great response. We are thrilled to announce that we had over 500 people attend HerpFest 2019! Thank you to our community for joining us and supporting this festival! Thank you to all of our amazing exhibitors: Alabama Herpetological Society, Jacksonville State University Herp LAB, Alabama 4H Science School, Cheaha State Park, JSU Field Schools, and Noccalula Falls; presenters: Stephen Faughn, Dawn Canterbury, Brandy Fonville, Dr. Mark Mandica, and Sandra Elliot; and live animal ambassadors. Special thank you to “Dr. Frog” or Dr. George Cline from Jacksonville State University for helping us organize this event.
